Te Reo Māori is the indigenous language of Aotearoa, New Zealand. It is one of three official languages of the nation. The language itself is central to Māori culture, identity and forms part of the heritage of our country.
Our Te Reo Māori Programme
All students receive regular lessons in te reo Māori and tikanga Maori.
We have a very active junior and senior kapa haka (Maori performing arts), mau rākau and poi groups. Our groups have numerous opportunities to perform throughout the year at cultural festivals, and at our school concerts.
