PTA

PTA Meeting this Friday 3pm (4^th September): At this stage we are planning for Ag Day going ahead on the 17^th October so the PTA will meet this Friday to progress preparations. Unfortunately, due to the Level 2 meeting restrictions, we are limited to 10 people. Ag Day activity coordinators have been prioritised for attendance and contacted directly. If you are not attending and have something you wish to raise at the meeting please send us an email at [email protected].

Ag Day Grocery Collection: We missed a few weeks due to lockdown so if you have any groceries or items that fit any of the early themes – Cans & Jars, Summer Sizzle, Around the World, Fancy or Fun, Bakers Delight, A Good Start, Health & Beauty – please feel free to donate these items. In week 8 the theme is Chocoholics – All about chocolate. We need a ton to make our Ag Day games loads of fun. The more we have the better the prizes! Please leave in the donation box in your child’s classroom.

Raffle Tickets: Raffle tickets are available for sale – buy one, two or a book of 10. $5 each with the chance to win $1,000 cash, an iPad, a night’s accommodation at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland, a Micro Rocket Scooter and a wheel barrow full of groceries.  Prizes drawn on Ag Day.  To purchase please contact Michaela Vermeulen by Text: 0211-888-404 or Email: [email protected]. Silent Auction Donations: The silent auction is a big fundraiser at Ag Day – last year the silent auction raised almost $9,000. If you work in or know a business that can contribute goods or services (vouchers) for the silent auction please reach out to Paula in the office ([email protected]).

Honey Orders: For those of you who ordered honey prior to lockdown we are aiming to deliver this week. Please contact Sarah Richardson if you need further information on delivery: [email protected]. Honey is still available to purchase $40 for 1kg. Please pay at the school office or directly into the PTA bank account: 12-3046-0270392-00 and drop your order form in the PTA box in the office.

Second hand school uniforms pop-up stall postponed until we move to Level 1. We will advise when we have a new date.
